As Redeemer Classical students study birds and insects this year for science, the coordinating nature walks will include birdhouse and bird feeder building, a visit from a local artist who paints outdoors, show ‘n tells with local entomologists and bird watchers, a guided hike at Eagle Marsh during Monarch butterfly migration season, sledding, insect collection, apple-picking, outdoor sketching, and more.
These walks are open to the public for free (a few require materials fees for non-students). You won’t want to miss this year of nature-walking. Take a gander at our newly updated schedule right here, then put it on your own calendar and plan to join us!
