Redeemer Classical School, our students and families, and Redeemer Lutheran Church are so very grateful to the gentlemen who donated new water fountains and the work to install them in our church and school buildings. Our givers are:

  • Bob Murdock, of Murdock Manufacturing, from City of Industry, California, who donated the funds for the water fountains.
  • Kent Crosser, with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 166, who paid Fort Wayne’s Allied Mechanical to remove two old fountains, relocate them, and install new watercoolers. He asks folks to say a prayer of thanks and blessing for the union members.

Also a big thank-you to Redeemer wonder woman Effie Sheron, who arranged the gifts and installation. Our old water fountains were, to put it plainly, ugly. The new ones are lovely. We use them every single day. Thank you!

See how ugly the old fountains were right here. Yes, seriously, that’s what they looked like!

Now, here is John from Allied installing the fountains:

And the final product:

We have many more plans for continued school and church property beautification, as we believe human beings made in God’s image should work and play within the beauty he loves and put into the world. Stay tuned!
