To better fit into our school day, nature study this year will be on Fridays at 11:15 a.m. Homeschool families who join us for nature study are welcome to stay afterwards for our weekly all-school picnic lunch.
This year, nature study will be closely tied to our science curriculum, Zoology 2, focusing on experiments and observations of various swimming creatures. Continue to bring your nature notebooks!
We will also take nature field trips every four to six weeks. They will be posted with the nature study schedule, which will be online soon. The first nature study event of the year is our annual apple orchard field trip, planned for September 13 at 3:30 at Advanced Tree Technology in New Haven.
