This summer Redeemer Classical families and nature walkers will gather each Monday at 9:30 a.m. for free play and exploration at Lindenwood Nature Preserve. You’re invited!
This will be a relaxed, agenda-free version of our school-year nature walks. We’re just out to maintain our habits of exploring God’s world, developing wonder and attention, exercising our bodies, and fostering relationships between parents and kids, parents and parents, kids and kids, and us all with creation.
We will begin the Monday after Memorial Day, June 4 (see our public calendar here). Spontaneous extra outings and last-minute cancellations for dangerous weather will be announced via our text message group. You can join that free by texting @redeemercl to 81010. If that doesn’t work on your phone, text @redeemercl to (347) 983-9822, or email redeemerclassicalschool@gmail.com so we can manually add you to the group text list.
Suggested bring-alongs: nature sketchbooks and colored pencils, sunscreen, bug spray (Lindenwood can get mosquito-ey), clothes and shoes that can get dirty, water to drink, and a cheerful attitude! As with our nature walks, in rain without lightning we will still go outdoors. If we stayed indoors every time it rains in Fort Wayne we’d miss half the outdoors opportunities!
